Woollies are a species of large creatures which inhabit several moons of Saturn, including Titan and Phoebe, and were enslaved by Human colonists in the 26th century.
Believed to have been bred artificially by an ancient, now-extinct civilization, Woollies have been described as "perfect slaves" due to their strength, adaptability and natural willingness to serve and follow orders.
Biology[]
Woollies are bulky gorilla-like bipeds entirely covered in long shaggy white hair. They stand about 7 ft in height (~ 2.1 m). Their eyes are red and have nictitating membranes to protect them from sudden bright lights. Their hands are three-fingered. Despite living in low-gravity environments, they're nevertheless phenomenally strong, and are known for being able to survive on multiple habitats.
Their natural telepathy allows them to distinguish between individual Humans with ease, probe their minds and partake in ideas and emotions. They're naturally inclined to follow other beings' commands, and serve other beings willingly and obediently.
Woollies feed on phosphorus, and reproduce asexually by budding.
