The Woodcrawlers are one of the lifeforms that were sent from the Iris to Earth within our Solar System. They are the parasitic creatures who capture humans and convert them into familiar duplicates referred to as the Fake People.

The Woodcrawlers, while never fully revealed yet, are an arachnid-like lifeforms with only their long spider-like appendages shown in white and black or off-grey. They may have a proboscis that is used for "entering" their victim like humans, although it is possible the statement refers to the creature entering through the nose of a human/"prey", that may also be refered to as a "proboscis".
These creatures are expert hunters that are able to traverse most terrain without making a sound, strong enough to break through bunker walls, adapted to climb walls and roofs, and able to grab or crush medium vehicles like police cars with their whole appendages due to their powerful strength.
