The Whiplash Trees are a type of vegetation native to Titan, which grows alongside cliffs and possesses elastic limbs to lash out at unsuspecting travelers.
Like all Titanian life, their bodies contain arsenic and are thus normally inedible for Humans. However, settlers have developed a way to chemically remove the arsenic and use them as a food source. It has also been noted that all Titanian life forms are asexual.
