Whale-squids are an aquatic species of cephalopods from the planet Earth.

Biology Edit

The Whale-squids resemble large pale skinned squid. They have a series of blue eyes that line their head. Closely related to the Hideauze, the whale-squids possess physiology that is more adapted to aquatic life than the vacuum of space. Infant whale-squids seem to appear more humanoid.

History Edit

When the Evolvers departed Earth to escape the Second Ice Age, several were left behind. Those that remained, under Earth's ice regressed into semi-intelligent creatures. After the ice melted and ocean levels rose, they coexisted with the human populace. In many maritime cultures of the Earth, whale-squids were regarded as sacred creatures.
