Weaponizers are a subspecies of multi-component Cybertronians found on the planets Cybertron and Junkion.

Biology[]

Anatomy[]

Weaponizers share a similar biology to other Cybertronians, except they can both transform into Cybertronian combat vehicles and split apart into armor and weapons.

Powers and abilities[]

Weaponizers share many of the same abilities as other Cybertronians, namely Multi-Component Transformers.

Weaponizers can transform into alternate forms suited for different types of combat.

Weaponizers can split apart into C.O.M.B.A.T. System-compatible weapons and combine with other Cybertronians to become bigger and stronger.

Weaknesses[]

Weaponizers share many of the same weaknesses as other Cybertronians.

Culture and society[]

Weaponizers share a similar culture to other Cybertronians. In addition to Autobots and Decepticons, there exist a number of Junkions that qualify as Weaponizers due to their Evo-Fusion technology.

Technology[]

Weaponizers are compatible with the Cybertronian Omnifunctional Modular Battlefield Assault Tech System (or C.O.M.B.A.T. System), a type of modular weapons technology purported to be the most advanced in the universe. This technology was employed by Cybertronians in the final days of their conflict on Cybertron.

Miscellaneous[]

Notes[]

  • Several Weaponizers are based on semi-sapient drones utilized by Cybertronian Titans in other Transformers media.
  • The Bluebolts figure included with the HasLab-exclusive Legacy: United Robots in Disguise 2001 Universe Omega Prime is functionally similar to the full-sized Weaponizers.
    • However, the figure is formally billed as a Battle Master during Hasbro Pulse's reveal of the HasLab Omega Prime toy.[1] This is likely a nod to how the original Blue Bolts was portrayed as a non-sentient weapon.
  • Tow-Line from the 2001 Transformers: Robots in Disguise franchise is only portrayed as a Weaponizer in the context of the Buzzworthy Bumblebee toyline, as he shares a mold with Scraphook.
    • Likewise, Lockdown and Road Pig are portrayed as Weaponizers in the context of the Walmart-exclusive Star Raider Collection featured in the Legacy: United toyline, as the former shares a mold with Axlegrease whereas the latter shares a mold with Crashbar.
