The Watery Blowhog is a close relative to the Fiery Blowhog, and a member of the Land Blowhogs. While not as common as its fiery cousin, it's still seen pretty regularly on PNF-404.
Biology[]
A recently evolved species, The Watery Blowhog is very similar to the Fiery Blowhog in appearance, the only main difference physically being the blue ring around its tube-like mouth instead of red.
Much of the catalysts and fire-breathing phosphorous genes are left dormant and lacking in the Watery Blowhog, it only capable of shooting non-flammable water at targets instead of fire. Despite this seemingly inferior line of defense, this hereditary trait is highly robust and dominant, making this species rapidly increasing in population. This species also doesn't have to worry about water as much as its fiery relative.
Some speculated that this species might outnumber Fiery Blowhogs overtime to become the signature species of Blowhog.
