Waspicable's species are an unnamed insectoid species under the control of the United Alliance of Evil.

Biology[]

Waspicable's species resemble humanoid wasps, bearing rather bulky bodies covered with a black and yellow exoskeleton. They have two antennae atop their heads, with a sharp curve near their ends, two compound eyes, and what appears to be a single buck tooth in their mouths. Their backs bear a set of insectoid wings. They are capable of flight, and also display super strength, super durability, the ability to fire energy blasts from their eyes, the ability to teleport, and the ability to shapeshift into a smaller wasp-like form. Certain members of this species bear more humanoid forms and bear a greater resemblance to hornets. One of these individuals, Sting King, had a massive silver protrusion in place of a right arm, able to function as a weapon, although it is unknown if this was part of his body or a cybernetic enhancement. It is also unknown what causes the differences between members of Waspicable's species, but is possible that they have a biological caste system, and that Sting King was higher on the caste.

Culture and society[]

Little is known about the society of Waspicable's species. While at least some members of their species are known to serve the United Alliance of Evil or other evil beings, it is unknown if they are doing so willingly or if they were forcefully subjugated, as Waspicable was truly a good and kind being despite wanting to be evil like his superiors wanted him to be. Likely due to their already very durable bodies and lack of visible genitals, at least some members of Waspicable's species wear little to no clothing, often just a metallic crotch covering and kneepads.

History[]

At some point in time, Waspicable's species, or at least some members of them, entered the service of the United Alliance of Evil, whether on their own will or not. One member, named Waspicable, was placed under the command of his own brother, Sting King, who constantly bullied him for not being evil enough. While Waspicable wanted to be evil like Sting King wanted, he found himself unable to overcome his better nature. To this end, he attempted to attack three Humans named Bulk, Skull, and Phenomenous, but was interrupted by Cassie Chan, the pink Space Ranger. He battled her, and managed to overpower her, but was unable to bring himself to destroy her. However, he was then attacked by the other Rangers. Cassie manages to stop the Rangers from dealing serious damage, but Waspicable leaves out of embarrassment. He later attacked a café, but seeing how his first target was an elderly man, he found himself unable to carry out any evil deeds and left. Later, Ecliptor, another one of his commanders, ordered him to attack Cassie at a birthday party, also sending in a squad of robotic Quantrons, who capture Cassie, with Ecliptor ordering Waspicable to destroy her. Unable to do so, he instead blasts the Quantrons. Sting King arrives with Astronema and fires at Cassie, but Waspicable takes the blast, injuring him. Cassie has him escape while the other Rangers arrive and fight off the Quantrons. Sting King escaped to space while being chased by the Rangers, firing back at them, but is blasted back down to Earth. While the Rangers manage to defeat him, Sting King is grown to giant size by Astronema, but is destroyed by the Astro Megazord. Waspicable, still on Earth, felt sad that he cannot fit into the societies of good or evil. Waspicable noticed the site of the ruined birthday party nearby, and decides to return some lost balloons to the birthday girl, deciding to become good. While he was never seen by the Rangers again, an image of Sting King was later summoned as an illusion to aid a monster known as Destructipede. During the United Alliance of Evil's assault on the universe, a member of Waspicable's species was seen in the army of the Machine Empire, alongside what appears to be a revived Sting King who fought for Zedd and Rita in the Vica Galaxy, who was destroyed by Zordon's Energy Wave. Sometime after the invasion was repelled, another member of Waspicable's species was present at a tavern on the planet Onyx.
