The Walkers of Sigma-957 are a mysterious and powerful species, one of the so-called First Ones that evolved before most other sapients of the galaxy. They dwell in the vicinity of the planet Sigma-957.
In the 23rd century, they were an isolationist species, thoroughly uninterested in the affairs of the younger races, although they seem to have some sort of rivalry with the Vorlons. The Narns' attempts to communicate with them were unsuccessful, as the Walkers, backed by superior technology, treated the Narns the same way most Humans treat ants: ignoring them at best and crushing them when they got in the way.
In 2260, the Walkers of Sigma-957 manifested themselves as a figure resembling a wooden mask with glowing light coming from inside it. It's not known whether this is a representation of their actual appearance or just a form used to communicate with humanoids.
