The Vuvv are a highly advanced quadrupedal species of fairly mysterious origins.
Biology[]
The Vuvv have a cuboid form with four legs, eyes on stalks, and a mouth that opens like a hatch with the outer appearance which resembles a posterior, they're fairly small by Human standards, growing to be about as large as a domesticated Cat.
Their biology seems to lack any major vocal cords, and it is still unknown if they have some kind of respiratory system, though it is known they can consume food which is safe for Humans, implying a similar biochemistry, though unlike humans, their method of reproduction is purely asexual, with children budding off from their parents.
Due to their housing and offices on their floating settlements on Earth, we can assume that they are naturally subterranean, which would explain their small size and their non-verbal form of communication.
Culture and Society[]
The Vuvv seemingly have a fairly sterile culture, with an ever turning wheel of progress which drives them forward, though they have taken the time to develop several things necessary to a culture.
Though their biology lacks the necessary organs to make vocalizations on par with Humans, they have developed a form of language based around rubbing their two front (legs? hands? meat paddles?) together to create a sound similar to rubbing the surface of a coarse object, though they have created a simplified version for species who do not posses the necessary biological attributes to replicate the sound of the Vuvv language , in addition to both of these auditory dialects, they have also developed a written language, though what precise material this language was designed to be written on is unknown.
Another side-effect their biology has on their culture is that they cannot experience romantic love, and find it too be very exotic, to study this, they have developed Courtship Broadcasting, which allows young couple in their co-prophecy alliance to broadcast their species romantic traditions, as well as their other traditions, in exchange for said couple's native currency.
The Vuvv seem to be masters of spaceflight and FTL travel, as their alliance, by the year 2037 CE, has reached at least twelve galaxies, the way they add worlds to this alliance is by making deals with the high economic powers on their worlds and giving them technology, as a type of benign invasion, the Vuvv see this a philanthropic gesture they undertake themselves, a Green Man's Burden if you will, and once control over a planet has been rendered absolute, they replace most local functions, such as distribution of jobs and wealth, education systems, and even the opinions of news channels.
Outside of space flight, language, views on other species, and world conquering, the Vuvv have developed some more mundane technologies, such as vast satellites which grow fields of artificial meats, fruits, vegetables and other assorted food stuffs, and to overcome the language barrier, they have developed small cube-like devices which also for near instantaneous translation from Vuvv to the other's language.
History[]
The Vuvv's history is never mentioned in detail by anyone in their alliance, or the species themselves (probably because someone forgot to recharge the translator before we entered their universe, Iqra), though we do know they first came upon the species Homo Sapiens, around the 1950s, in the year 2033, they made official first contact with the Human race, affectively taking over the planet.
