The Vespasians (Latin: Homo vesparum, meaning "wasp man") are an alien race from the Fuchsia Polygon universe, created by PCarolaSX. They primarily inhabit the dimension of Vespasia, specifically their own nation, Vespasia.
The Vespasians are a branch of humanity along with the Florians and Formicians, who also live in the same dimension.
Description[]
The Vespasians, although they look human, are an evolution of Homo sapiens that developed antennae, wasp wings and sharp teeth.
Along with the Florians (homo cauliflorus) and Formicians (homo formicae), the Vespasians are one of the best-known races in the dimension of Vespasia.
They developed a complex and hyper-advanced culture with its own language, whose government is based on a monarchy governed mostly by the women of the Vespasian royal family. The Vespasians also have their own religious beliefs based on the worship of a deity called Nahla.
Biology[]
In the whole, Vespasians are quite similar to humans, both in appearance and anatomically, having similar skin colors and similar facial features. However, they have exclusive characteristics such as wings, antennae and sharp teeth, generally stronger than humans, to the point of having better reflexes. Vespasians have characteristic yellow skin, which varies in different shades; in some cases, Vespasians can be born with skin with human tones, as in the case of Vortex.
The wings are used for flight, the Vespasian bones could be lighter for flight, although it is possible that the size of the wings and the power are enough to lift a Vespasian or to cushion a fall.
The antennas could help them orient themselves and have better reflexes when faced with attacks.
The sharp teeth are probably used to easily eat meat or to defend themselves against enemies.
