Alien Species

Venusians are the native sapient inhabitants of the planet Venus, which made contact with Humans by interplanetary radio in the fourth millennium.

Biology[]

Venusians are large, six-legged insectoids of varying appearance, some of which look like ants while others more closely resemble beetles. It's not known if other types exist besides these two, and it's not known whether the ant-like and beetle-like Venusians represent two different species, or two different castes, sexes, or life stages of the same species.

Culture and society[]

In the fourth millennium, Venusians are more advanced than Humans in terms of technological development, but less advanced in terms of natural sciences. The biggest threat that endangers their existence is the proliferation of small mammalian pests that feast on the Venusians' crops.
