Venusians are an unnamed primitive humanoid species native to Venus.

Venusians are externally indiscernible from Humans, and are capable of telepathically controlling levitating Venusian rocks.
Culture and society[]
Venusians are technologically primitive, not even seen with simple tools. Despite this, they appear to know what a spaceship is, likely the result of previous visits from more advanced species, and also somehow know of a Human superhero named El Chapulín Colorado. Venusians are also afraid of foreign explorers such as astronauts, mostly trying to stay away from them, although some Venusians are known to overcome their fears and peacefully interact with foreign explorers. While lacking advanced technology, Venusians are experienced in controlling levitating stones as some sort of hovering vehicle. Venusian clothing, at least for females, consists of mossacins and short dresses bearing designs akin to the fur of tigers and leopards, likely made from animal pelts. The Venusian language is similar to Spanish, but lacks vowels other than U.
History[]
Venusians arose on Venus, developing a rather primitive society, and at some point, learned of El Chapulín Colorado, who in turn learned the Venusian language. In the 1970s, two Human astronauts arrived on Venus, frightening a female Venusian who was watching the landing. She ran to her friend, showing her the ships and astronauts. The first Venusian then summoned El Chapulín Colorado with a call for help. Chapulín arrived, and the Venusians told him of the astronauts. Chapulín, first not deeming the astronauts a threat, tried to explain the purpose of space exploration, and the wonders of Human civilization, although he slipped into revealing war and pollution present on Earth. Further frightened, the Venusians opted to escape the area, both getting on a levitating rock, taking off for another area. Meanwhile, Chapulín watched as the spacecraft's autopilot made the ship take off again, stranding the astronauts on Venus, and he was unable to establish communication with Earth.
Sometime later, after landing in another part of the jungle, the Venusians believed they had lost the astronauts, taking a walk through the jungle together while singing, not realizing the astronauts were behind them. The astronauts, immediately smitten by the Venusian women, went up to the Venusians and introduced themselves, scaring the Venusians off. Meeting up with Chapulín again, they asked for his help, and Chapulín tried to explain a wrestling move he planned to use on the astronauts, clumsily throwing himself into a pile of pillow-like Venusian rocks. Then, the astronauts came back, making the Venusians stand aside as Chapulín attempted to stop the astronauts, eventually succeeding in knocking the astronauts down, prompting the Venusians to celebrate. However, the astronauts, who realized they could survive in the atmosphere without their helmets, stood up and knocked out Chapulín with their helmets, making the Venusians run off when they tried approaching them again. The astronauts chased them into the foliage while an unconscious Chapulín flew away on the levitating rock he landed on, and unbeknownst to Chapulín, the astronauts eventually caught up to the Venusians, and the Venusians managed to overcome their fears and talk to the astronauts. Finding that the Humans only sought a relationship with them, the Venusians became intrigued and agreed to their proposal, and waited for Chapulín to return. When he finally did, the Venusians told him how to properly control the stone: with mental commands. They stayed put while Chapulín used his newfound control of the rock to take a joyride around the planet, and after he landed, he asked for two more rocks to help the astronauts return to Earth, only for the Venusians to tell him that the astronauts were not going to return to Earth, as they had decided to live on Venus.

Notes[]
- This episode is a variation of "Aventuras en Venus," a 1973 episode with a similar plot and Venusian species, although the episode, at least in its original Spanish, has been lost. A later adaptation, "Viaje a Marte," featured Martians in place of Venusians.
- Venus, as portrayed in the episode, has an Earth-like environment with jungles, although with a perfectly clear sky allowing space to be seen.
