These unnamed eel-like creatures are native to the icy seas of the planet in which the survivors of the Resolute attack crash-landed.
Biology[]
They're described as methanogenic chordates, and metabolize hydrocarbons. Their blood is dark blue in coloration, and they seem to be both numerous and hostile.
History[]
Shortly after the incident, these creatures invaded the storage units of most of the crashed ships and started to feed on the methane-based fuel, which was speculated to be chemically similar to their native food source.
