Tropical Pufferbirds are a species of pufferbird native to the tropical planet DL-C1, making it one of only two known species of pufferbirds not known to exist on AR-Y 26. It is one of the primarily carbon-based lifeforms found on said planet.

Anatomy[]

Tropical pufferbirds are very similar to its relatives found on both its home planet and on AR-Y 26. It has the largest beak of any pufferbird, with its upper beak alone several times bigger than the full-sized beaks of other species. Although most of its body isn't covered, its tail does have small purple tail feathers growing from the tip. Much of its body is blue with a white streak just underneath the beak, and a violet-like coloration along its tail and wings. Its large beak is black, orange, and slightly pink in color.

Much of its appearance strongly resembles an earth toucan.

Behavior[]

Like other pufferbirds, tropical pufferbirds are fairly docile when approached, and are usually found in sociable groups.
