Tritor's species are an unnamed humanoid reptilian species from Horath, once enslaved by the Machine Empire.
Biology[]
Members of Tritor's species are sapient humanoids, mostly resembling Humans, but with very distinctive reptilian traits. Their faces, right arms, and most of their torsos are Human-like, bearing flesh, while their left arms, legs, pelvis, upper chests, and the rest of their heads bear green armor, with light-colored spikes protruding from their left shoulders, thighs, and craniums. In addition, they have notably deep voices and a long lizard-like tail. They are also notably stronger than Humans and fairly durable, enough to survive multiple explosions in close proximity with little to no visible damage. Members of Tritor's species can teleport themselves and others across vast distances of space, as long as there are no forcefields around their location.
Culture and society[]
Little is known of the society of Tritor's species, other than that they possess a warrior culture, one which appears to have persisted even after they were enslaved by the Machine Empire. Currently, two Humans known as Bulk and Skull, assumed to be great warriors by Tritor, are respected as legends on Horath.
History[]
At some point in the late 20th Century, Horath was captured by Prince Gasket of the Machine Empire, Tritor's species being enslaved. Tritor, deemed to be the best warrior of Horath, was taken as a gladiator to the Machine Arena, a colosseum created by Prince Gasket, while also learning that Earth was Gasket's next target. In the Machine Arena, Tritor learned of a forcefield around the arena, which nullified his teleportation ability, and a device that can rearrange memories, known as the brain scrambler. In the final years of the 20th Century, when Prince Gasket attempted to corrupt Tommy Oliver of Zordon's Power Ranger team, Tritor was still a gladiator in the arena. Jason of the Power Rangers was also captured, alongside a pair of bumbling Human bullies named Bulk and Skull, depositing them into Tritor's cell. Introducing himself to Bulk and Skull, Tritor told them of Horath, and how Earth was Gasket's next target. Knowing that Gasket captures great warriors from the planets he conquers, Tritor assumed that Bulk and Skull were Earth's greatest warriors, forming a plan to escape with their help while Gasket was occupied with Tommy and a captured Ranger named Jason. Tritor was the next fighter in line to be sent to the arena, and hid next to the doorway as a Cog, a foot soldier of the Machine Empire, was sent to retrieve him. When the Cog passed by him, he quickly attacked and disabled it, taking keys from the Cog. Along with Bulk and Skull, he went through the arena's lower levels, taking pieces of the Cog as weapons. Tritor relayed the plan to the two, to destroy the brain scrambler device and the forcefield generator.
They eventually found the machines, but were tracked by Cogs, with Bulk and Skull having to defend Tritor while he entered the machine room to disable the devices, violently tearing components of the various consoles off. Outside, Bulk and Skull, lacking proper combat skills, mostly bumbled around to avoid the Cogs, but their slapstick-esque antics were enough to evade and even defeat several Cogs. Tritor eventually managed to destroy all the machines, causing several explosions that engulfed him, although he walked away without injury, meeting up with Bulk and Skull outside. Seeing the Cogs that Bulk and Skull destroyed, Tritor truly believed the two were great warriors. As the forcefield was down, Tritor was able to use his teleportation abilities to teleport Bulk, Skull, and himself to their respective homeworlds, vowing to make Bulk and Skull legends on Horath. Tritor's actions also saved the Power Rangers from Gasket, as the forcefield's destruction allowed them to escape the Machine Arena. With the later fall of the Machine Empire in the wake of Zordon's Energy Wave and the return of Tritor, it can be assumed that Horath is a free world once more.
