Tri-fangs are a type of demon worm native to Hades. They are large, three-headed predators that spit acid at potential prey.
Description
Anatomy
Tri-fangs are large, snakelike creatures with three heads and three tails. They resemble enormous vipers, 16-20 feet in length and weighing 500-600 pounds. The center head contains a gland from which it can spit a powerful acid at a range of up to 20 feet.
Diet
Tri-fangs are exclusively carnivorous, preying on native animals as well as Hades' enslaved human population.
Reproduction and life cycle
Tri-fangs presumably reproduce sexually, but other than that details are not known. They have a lifespan of about 220 years.
Behavior
Tri-fangs are solitary predators that prefer to live in rocky or arboreal environments. They dislike cold, like most creatures of Hades, but are not overly harmed by it. They are highly territorial and aggressive animals, tolerating the presence of their own kind but attacking and eating almost anything else. They generally attack prey by spitting their acid at the eyes, hoping to blind the prey.
