Trantis' species are a sapient extra-galactic race, regarded in the 40th century as one of the great powers of the outer galaxies. In the year 4000, a representative of this species became one of several allies of the Daleks in their planned invasion of the Milky Way.
Trantis appears to be the name of their planet as well as their representative. They represent the largest and most powerful of the outer galaxies.
Biology[]
They're short humanoid creatures who mostly resemble Humans, with wild hair, sharp teeth, and numerous facial tendrils. These are actually empathic sensors that allow them to exchange emotions with each other, and are poisonous, capable of harming Humans and Time Lords. Since they don't always display these tendrils (the same individual having been observed with and without them), it's possible that the tendrils might be retractable, or fall off and regrow periodically.
History[]
In the year 4000, this species was conducting research into the field of time travel and believed they were close to achieving success.
