This article is about the non-sapient Quintesson creations. For the similarly named technorganic Cybertronians, please go to Technorganic.

Trans-Organics are a non-sapient race of techno-organic animals from the depths of the planet Cybertron.

Biology[]

Anatomy[]

Trans-Organics are generally larger than Cybertronians, yet each one has their own unique appearance including:

  • A gorilla-like beast with green tendrils for arms
  • A largely metal white snake
  • An almost completely metallized bird
  • A brown anklyosauric creature
  • A half robotic bear
  • A frog-like creature with a bear trap on its back and a camera for an eye
  • The Dweller, a vampiric energy-sucking worm monster with metal tentacles

Behavior[]

Trans-Organics are extremely violent and uncontrollable, making them fit for only destruction.

History[]

The Trans-Organics are generally the first species to be created of the Quintessons, their existence predating the Cybertronians. Occasionally, they are an accidental by-product of the Quintessons' failed attempt in controling Primus using the Plasma Energy Chamber. However, beasts were deemed ill-fit for even the simplest of tasks. Most of the Trans-Organics were destroyed except for seven, who were left in a Hibernation Chamber deep within Cybertron.

Millions of years later, a group of Quintessons tricked Galvatron's Decepticons into awakening the Trans-Organics, planning to let their old creations exterminate the Cybertronians. After encountering Galvatron, the Dweller consumed the other six Trans-Organics and cut a swath of destruction across Cybertron. When the Dweller attacked a newly installed power plant, the Autobots ejected it into space in a bid to dispose of the creature. Though it crashed into a Quintesson ship that was monitoring the events, the Dweller's fate on is unknown.

Alternate history[]

An alternate origin for the Trans-Organics involves them being created by the Oracle/Vector Sigma in its quest to create the perfect combination of organic and robotic life. However, they only inherited the negative aspects of their progenitors, consisting of the heartlessness of machines and ferocity of beasts. Therefore, the Oracle was forced to seal the Trans-Organics away.

Notes[]

  • The gorilla Trans-Organic vaguely resembles the demon prince Demogorgon from Dungeons & Dragons.
  • The Dweller would serve as the basis for both the Drillers featured in the live-action film series and the Dwellers featured in Transformers: EarthSpark.
