Torrance is one of John Silver's gang of interstellar pirates recruited to serve aboard the spaceship RLS Legacy in her expedition to find the legendary treasure of Captain Flint. He is a stout pink semi-humanoid alien with a face located on his torso. He participated in the mutiny along with the other pirates which successfully took control of the ship and found the treasure chamber, but was later arrested along with Krailoni, Hedley, Onus and Grewnge and presumably brought to trial.
