The Tolneps are an alien species that has warred with the Psychlos.
Biology[]
The Tolneps are short, about half the size of a Psychlo, and can breathe almost anything, making them immune to Psychlo gas barrages. Their bite is deadly poisonous. They have a body density comparable to iron and can't be killed with an ordinary blast gun.
Tolneps always wear face masks. This is because they see in infrared only and need to have a filter plate, as they go totally blind when subjected to shorter wavelength light. They can be killed with ultraviolet weapons. They're also intensely allergic to cold and have a body temperature somewhere around either 200 degrees or 300.
Culture and society[]
The Tolneps originate from somewhere near the star cluster in the current universe. They have mastered time control and can hold it frozen and their ships make long piratical voyages.
