Titanians are a semi-sapient species native to Titan.

Biology[]

They are four-foot long, crawling, seal-like, asexual creatures, with clawed tridactyl hands to anchor themselves to the ground during windstorms. They have a two-inch layer of protective blubber, and their eyes have been described as large, luminous and doglike. Like all Titanian life forms, their bodies contain arsenic and are thus normally inedible for Humans.

Culture and society[]

While they're mostly friendly, their intelligence level has been compared to that of a St. Bernard dog. However, they're still intelligent enough to trade with 22nd century Human settlers, bringing them valuable gems in exchange for objects the Titanians may perceive as interesting, such as clocks and knifes. They seem to be entirely nomadic creatures and build no homes or settlements.
