  • When you create a page, please, don't forget to add the species' name to the infobox.

    • There a method to do that? When I put in the templates there isn't an option to do that.

    • Have you tried editing in source mode?

    • I don't see any options in there to do that ^^; I tried to put in the name through the normal mode bit it's WAY TOO precise (and frustrating). Know what the column or whatever it is called so I can add it in?

    • Could be mistaken, but I did a few tests and I think the only way to do it is to go to the Source Editor.

Click on the icon with additional options right before the "cancel" and "save page" buttons. You'll see it has "options", "categories", "help", "keyboard shortcuts" and "source editor". Once you click on the source editor, you'll see the infobox's code and you can just add " |name = " right after the "{{AlienSpecies" and before the " |image = ". Then just add the name after the equal sign.

I'll be honest with you, I never use the visual editor. I only edit with the source editor. I don't know why they don't give the option to add the name to the infobox, but anyway, hope that helps a little. Please tell me if you still have problems with this.

    • Thank you. But yeah, I think I'll just work with the source editor when it comes to the infoboxes - makes things easier. Thanks for the tips for future in case I try it again ^^

BTW, hope I'm helping with all of these new pages ^^
