The Thought-Beasts are creatures native to the planet Krypton. They were considered extinct after the destruction of the planet, but later it was revealed that Superman keeps one in The Fortress of Solitude, with some more in the Bottle-City of Kandor which were later introduced to New Krypton. However they were once again rendered extinct after New Krypton was destroyed due to the machinations of humanity.
Biology[]
The Though-Beasts are rhino creatures with frills making them look similar in form to ceratopsid dinosaurs. Their frills allow them projects their thoughts and intentions. Like most herd animals they follow the biggest and most aggressive male. The presence of one of these creatures can cause mental images of a person's worst fear.
