The Blob is a worse character in the Mr. Bean episode Scaredy Bean.
Overview[]
This slimy, hundred-eyed alien begins to grow huge after exiting its spaceship and prepares to open its mouth bristling with sharp teeth, which it uses to suck in its victims before eating them alive by swallowing them and then spitting out the rest as the skeletons.

Inspiration[]
There are no direct references of inspiration to the blob from Mr. Bean. Since it was only seen once on the movie screen and then in Mr. Bean's nightmares, it is not part of the hero who defeated the giant cat and is never spoken of, its inspiration is entirely up for debate. Possible references based on its appearance include:
- Argus Panoptes, a hundred-eyed monstrous giant from Greek mythology.
- The Blob, a gelatinous, slimy alien from the 1958 horror film of the same name and the 1972 horror film Beware! The Blob.
