The Tellens are an alien species that inhabit the Milky Way Galaxy Forty-Seventh Florescence.
Biology[]
Tellens resembled fat panda bears. They were vaguely mammalian. Tellens were 2.5 meters tall with black-and-white-striped fur. The ears were four long, pointed fans, two to each side of the blocky head. Four limpid brown eyes stared out over the muzzle of a carnivore with three fingered sucker tipped hands. Tellens were dextromolecular-levomolecular food-chain-based.
History[]
In the past the Tellens were wholly ignorant of life on other worlds. Though through their telepathic abilities they heard voices in the stars, but presumed it to be spirits watching over the clans. First contact with other races was made by the Corhn Clan.
Culture[]
The Tellens didn't belong to one of the Florescence races for whom personal eating was a private ceremony, shared only with mates, fellow hatch-lings, or progenitors. Their world contained many predators, this members of the species held a constant vigil. Though the Tellens were the dominant species, the six million other brach-ahn ruled the planet—at least as much as they wished. Due to the fragility of their ecosystem the Tellens held a concept that a Balance must be maintained. If there were too many brach-ahn and the rest of the food-chain would be affected.
