The Technoids are an aggressive cybernetic species.

Culture and society[]

Technoids are members of a myoelectronic race who espouse participant evolution, choosing to change themselves using technology to improve on nature and creating interfaces between electric and organic matter. The Technoids are true sentient beings who discard their flesh and blood forms for mechanized bodies of greater strength and durability.

The Technoids believe themselves to be the next step in evolution. They hold the Galarchy in disdain and it's supposedly imperial ways, launching various acts of terrorism against galactic peace. Their aim is to convert everyone in the Union to their dogma as both organic and machine.

History[]

The Technoids were involved in the Battle of Bora-Prime, where a force of sixty strong legionnaires of the Alien Legione led by Captain Vektor fought against a thousand Technoids. The legionnaires were wiped out, but their defiance to the end was chronicled and Captain Vektor was honored as a hero to the Galarchy.

Years later the leader of the Technoids by the name of Dethron launched a terrorist attack on Strong-Point Vega. The Galarchy responded and sent Captain Sairgar, a former pupil of Captain Vektor to kill Dethron.

However it was later revealed that Dethron was actually Captain Vektor, who did in fact survive the Battle of Bora-Prime, saved by the very Technoids he fought as they admired his bravery. He had been converted into a full cyborg which made him lose touch of the physical world. He eventually killed the ones who knew of his conversion and became the leader of the Technoids, but intended to use them as a tool for his vengeance as he blamed the Galarchy for his fate as they had abandoned his men at Bora-Prime. Captain Sairgar recognizing his former mentor's speech patterns eventually confronted him and killed the captain in order to keep his memory from being tarnished.

After the death of the leader, the Legion forces invaded the Technoid's capital planet. The Technoids sued for peace and a new more favorable leader was installed with the interest of the Galarchy.
