The Technicians are a trio of super-advanced physicians from an alternate dimension.
Biology[]
Technicians are thin humanoids with various cybernetic limbs and rebreather masks installed into their throats. Said cybernetics are said to be the result of their extreme lengths to survive on their ruined world and sustained their poisoned bodies.
Background[]
The Technicians are from an alternate Earth, one where their ambitions left it in ruins.
They were visited by the dimension traveling Angstrom Levy, a human who gained his abilities and attempted to absorb all the memories of his alternate selves in order to gain total awareness of their dimensions and understanding of how to save each one. But due to the interference of Invincible, instead it empowered him with a thirsting for revenge against Invincible, who in nearly every alternate dimension was a cruel and brutal dictator. In one plot to get revenge on Invincible, he attempted to torment his mother and half-brother whilst he sent the hero through multiple dimensions. He failed and was badly injured and yet alive. Angstrom managed to get to the dimension of the Technicians who he convinced to provide medical aid to repair his body. In exchange for much needed medical aid, Angstrom made a deal with the Technicians.
After his attempt to kill Invincible failed, resulting in losing his arm, Angstrom returned to the Technicians in order for them to repair it. However the Technicians stated that they would not help Angstrom unless he fulfilled his part of the bargain, citing that they did not follow his orders, and to the contrary he would instead follow theirs.
Nevertheless they agreed to repair his hand, replacing it with a seamless cybernetic appendage. Angstrom's new masters required him to allow them to leave their devastated world which according to them was only the beginning.
Years later Angstrom made good on his promise, using his ability to open portals to other dimensions, using limitless resources from other Earths to provide many things for the Technicians. The world was transformed into a perfect version of itself, and a new population came to live in the dimension, who viewed the Technicians as gods, and attended to their every want and desire. With everything accomplished, the Technicians allowed Angstrom to go free to pursue his revenge against Invincible.
Despite being given utopia, for some reason the Technicians tried to invade Angstrom's Earth using a fleet of advanced spaceships. The war was devastating to Earth, but thanks to Emperor Nolan of the New Viltrumite Empire and Robot who effectively ruled Earth, the invaders were defeated. The last remaining Technician was personally slayed by Nolan at the prodding of Robot who believed it was the only way to ensure peace.
However Invincible suspected that it was Robot who brought the Technicians to Earth, as a way to create an enemy to convince all the other heroes who still resisted his reign to side with him.
Culture[]
