The Tassonites are an alien race from the feudal world of Tassaroth.

A humanoid species with pointed ears. They are capable of breeding with humans.
History[]
Many years ago warlocks with the mastery in the ark arts allied themselves with tyrants. Together they conquered the lands and reigned supreme. A time of evil and fear, the warlocks turned anyone who dared rise against them into ghouls and forced them into slavery.
One man opposed them Raja the Dragon Tamer and of the Vin bloodline. According to the oracles it was said that the Vin would rise to power and establish Drakkara. His sign would be a dragon by his side and the appearance of a great sign in the sky. At the time of great division Raja united the tribes under a single banner and inspired them to rise against their oppressors. Forming an army, Raja led them to defeat the tyrants and warlocks, subduing the dark arts and liberating the lands. Vin Raja then established Drakkara, a nation of united tribes under one banner and was crowned the Darukin.
However the start of Tassaroth's troubles would begin when Raja captured a Grand Warlock in the middle of an evil act of sorcery. Just as Raja lifted his sword to strike the warlock's head, earthquakes rockws the land, volcanoes erupted and the shock waves resulted in the Portal. The portal in the sky was believed that it was the fullfillment of the prophecy marking Vin Raja's rise. Other worshiped it. Despite the various difference to the tribes of Tassaroth, it was a shared experience. Soon enough their first visitors from the other side came through in flying fortresses and ships.
The Tassonites' territory was encroached by the invading human colonizers from a portal. Using their advanced technology the humans enslaved many Tassonites and began to extract Govizide a mineral that provided cheap power to their technology as well as a narcotic. After having their pride and dignity taken, the nation of Drakkara rebelled against the humans and began a war to force the invaders to leave. The Zila tribe seeking to regain their influence that they had possessed under the warlocks conspired with the honorless humans to acquire weapons from them to slaughter the Drakkarans while their human masters turned a blind eye to the civilians that are slaughtered.
Culture[]
Tassonite culture is around the middle ages and there is a nation known as Drakkara. It is led by the chieftain known as the Darukin. Those with Royal blood in Drakkara are known as the Vin. Apparently the nation is made up of many tribes such as the Zila, who chose to become slaves and even soldiers for the humans to survive.
