- Someone must have altered the placeholder link in the alien species galleries and it went unnoticed; that's how some of us figure out what we are going to add from day to day, and since history states I added both pages, that is very likely the reason why, since I heavily use the galleries (as the galleries are my project). Technically, the Ice Burrower page is a duplicate of this one, however, as this page is actually older by maybe as much as a year (this page was created in 2009, the other in 2010; I don't feel like cross checking exact dates right now since I already closed the histories up).
- The question is, though, should we utilize a redirect and merge the pages or is it still believed that there is an good chance there's another alien race in any media out there also known as an "ice burrower", since that's not a particularly original name, since it's just a descriptive phrase (like, say, the Klingon name would be, which is more proper)? That was the original intent of adding "(Metroid)" to the article title, is the likelihood of same-named species somewhere else. In that particular case, one page would have to be purged and/or converted into a disambiguation like was done with the Blob page. — Somarinoa (talk) 02:28, December 8, 2012 (UTC)
