What literature or supplement did this come from? Holbenilord 19:03, June 10, 2011 (UTC)

First look at name and at the picture, I'm willing to bet that it's some sort of comic or other graphic material relating to the Alien universe. Checking now. Insurgence: Like the Phoenix I rise again! {ADMIN} 04:52, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

It's from the Kenner toys. The original and some of the second series of Aliens toys came with miniature comics to detail how their species work as a sort of introduction to the toy. There have been several toy types that did this, but the Aliens (and possibly Predator) ones were the only ones that used Dark Horse to create their comics, haha. I believe He-Man & the Masters of the Universe did the same thing back in the day, although He-Man toys in package were sort of a rarity where I'm from. All of mine came to me second-hand.

I see. Alright, I'll add to it later after I get more info on the comic and the toy itself. Insurgence: Like the Phoenix I rise again! {ADMIN} 20:09, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

Good luck on that, I've searched time and again in many fashions for significant information on the comics - very little I've found on the net. Really, it seems you have to buy the mini-comics or unopened Kenner action figures and then open it to be able to read the comic to glean the information about them. I've found only a few of the cover art images on the net (including the one for the Mantis Alien, but that's about it so far. Hopefully you'll have better luck (and if you do, let me know so I can get it too, cuz I used to have them but they are now lost), haha. -- Somarinoa 23:11, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

I'll keep ya posted, chief :) Insurgence: Like the Phoenix I rise again! {ADMIN} 23:15, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

And as soon as I set out, I'm back. I found some comics viewable, but the ones that we're looking for are 404 File not found. D: The comics that I've found have been provided to the AVPGalaxy forums by one Commander Griker. Insurgence: Like the Phoenix I rise again! {ADMIN} 23:26, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

should be moved or deleted Edit

there is not enough information to warrant this article since we have the Facehugger article already this should be deleted what do other people think. --Owen1983 (talk) 20:47, January 28, 2014 (UTC)

I am sure there is more information on these from the kenner toys card, and the mini-comic that featured them. i am going to check my AVP archive :| ralok (talk) 16:14, January 29, 2014 (UTC)
Found some more information. Owen1983 (talk) 19:26, January 29, 2014 (UTC)
I am in complete disagreement. Giant Facehuggers as I recall were not just enlarged facehuggers that had, say, failed to implant with a host but were an entirely different strain like the Royal Facehuggers or...whatever those ones that turned people into zombies in the original Aliens vs. Predator beat 'em up were called (Infestors? I don't know anymore). Since the entire point of this wiki was to document any and all alien species I feel they would deserve their own separate pages. On that note, if someone grabs the actual contents of the booklet (I had it but that was, what? Roughly 20 years ago?) and can confirm that my memory is faulty and they are in fact simply facehuggers that never implanted a host and 'matured', in a sense, than I could stomach a merger with the facehugger page. The very idea that you want to outright delete the information however sort of disgusts me. — Somarinoa (talk) 10:58, January 30, 2014 (UTC)
I would like to go back on what i said about deletion as I believe this can be a good article. Owen1983 (talk) 18:14, January 30, 2014 (UTC)
