Alien Species

Re: Blocking[]

Hello there!

I'm a new user to this Alien Species Fandom Wiki and want to get acquainted with the rules and policies here. I've been in Fandom for a few months right now and long been editing articles in another Fandom wiki. I've recently edited in the article Martian (Looney Tunes) where I added features and a GIF of Baby Marvin the Martian (btw, I'm a fan of him).

Since I'm very new here, I'm not quite acquainted with the wiki's rules until I step into this rules thingy. One thing that concerns me is blocking. When we mean blocking, we are depriving others from the privilege of editing in this wiki. However, some who are editing in good faith can be inadvertently blocked. So, out of concern, here's my question:

If ever a user is blocked for a certain reason but they believe that such a commission is unintentional, can they appeal their "blocked" status?

This hasn't been a problem in recent times. The active admin is pretty tolerant. King Kravoka (talk) 04:37, July 31, 2020 (UTC)

Unless some serious offense was committed, you can still use your own Message Wall when blocked, so, yes, you can appeal and we'll re-evaluate the situation. Even if you can't use your Message Wall here, you can always send me a message on another wiki, such as our sister sites w:c:non-aliencreatures or w:c:fantasticworlds. As long as you're willing to talk civilly, we'll always listen. -- BlueFrackle (talk) 18:44, July 31, 2020 (UTC)

There should be a new rule for people using racial insults on pages like he recent troll writing stuff on the Death Angel page
