The Swarming Sheargrub is a species of Mandiblard closely related to the Sheargrub, only recently discovered by Captain Charlie on PNF-404.

Description[]

Swarming Sheargrubs are closely mirroring the female Sheargrubs in appearance, but are considered much larger and green in coloration, with red eyes. Their size grows the more they consume, growing twice as big at the most during a singular feeding session.

As it suggests, the Swarming Sheargrubs are very sociable and often found in larger groups called "packs", mostly up to seven at a time, and can move incredibly fast despite not having any known legs. This is perhaps an adaptation from its ancestors better utilized.

They are omnivorous, and often finding numerous food sources in their area. They've been observed consuming nectar, fruits, carcasses of other creatures, and even foreign matters such as pellets.

A unique trait recently discovered by explorers revealed that this species, unlike its relatives, spends all of its life aboveground, which in turn possibly explains its pack hunting behavior.

Notes[]

  • Due to its higher speed compared to other mandiblards, speculations state that they are descendants of the extinct Buriko.
