The Sverans are an alien race that are members of the Chorus, from Prism Stalker Comics.
Biology[]
The Sverans are quadrupeds, resembling a somewhat alien horse. However the heads are mucus covered and three pink receptors. The Sverans organize themselves similar to ants, which a queen who lays all the eggs. However the queen rather than a insect appears to be a great giant fleshy root containing eggs. The eggs are numerous though a few with ever bloom to become nestkeepers, most are used as export foodstuff to other worlds.
Culture[]
Under the instruction of the Chorus the Sverans took in a human refugee population, the Imamans, who escaped their homeworld from a planetary quarantine. A dying race, they use the humans as an indentured workforce within the confines of the asteroid home which they use as a hive.
Within the asteroid they have the humans harvest their eggs which are used as food and a tourist attraction for foreigners who sample the delicacy.
