The Stone Seekers were one of the species that were abducted by the Makers and placed on their zoo world.
Biology[]
Stone Seekers are seal-like creatures, possessing huge and pear-shaped bodies with rubbery gray-brown hides of thick blubber. Their backs were sloped, ending in flipper feet, and their three joined arms ended in a four-fingered hand. They were capable of movement in the water.
History[]
According to the Yellow Crests the Stone Seekers are one of the oldest races that were transplanted by the Makers on the current world which they reside. Through the Knowledge Transfer Devices they were able to assist the many disparate species abducted species by the Makers.
The Stone Seekers would receive word that the Yellow Crests had been wiped out by a new species brought to the world by the Makers. The last Yellow Crest came before the Stone Seekers to plead for the wise beings to impart knowledge of war unto him so he may be able to defeat the Wolves. The Stone Seekers were unnerved by the news but agreed to share their knowledge after the Yellow Crest and his companion exchanged their memories as payment. For the human they were newcomers but the Stone Seekers found that human civilization was remarkably close in development to the Makers.
However before the Stone Seekers could complete their deal, the Wolves invaded their underwater city and began massacring the Stone Seekers.
Culture[]
Due to their in-depth understanding of the Makers’ Knowledge Transfer Devices, the Stone Seekers are well known to be the wisest people among the Makers’ collected species. Using the technology the Stone Seekers collect memories, amassing vast libraries of knowledge from many different species.
