The Sputans are a race of mute, genderless, uniocular worm-like aliens from the planet Sputa in Sector 17. They originally evolved from different kinds of plants, bacteria, and insects.
Biology[]
Sputans have a rather worm-like body with a tail, a singular eye, and six feet and six arms, although they could have four arms, four legs, and no tail. Most members could have pale skin and orange hair, however a version of their representative Larvox has no hair at all.
Society[]
Sputans all live in harmony and, similar to Uxorians, had communities where no one had individual identities. This was because it was done in harmony with Sputa, and was not imposed by the societies.

- The Sputan homeworld was originally given the name T41A, before it was changed to Sputa.
- In "The Green Loontern" episode of Duck Dodgers, Larvox is portrayed with purple skin, a second eye underneath the primary one and four wavy tendrils on their hair. They also posses arms that bisect into two claw-like hands, which is how their arms were portrayed in early comics
