Sprixies are a fairy-like alien race.
Biology[]
Sprixies are small and have a similar size to a Human child. They have black, oval-shaped eyes that have white pupils, and two small wings on their back, allowing them to fly. They are seemingly an all female species, as no male Sprixies appear to exist.
Adult female Sprixies tend to wear a pink hood over their head and a pink dress. Their lower body, however, cannot be seen from below, as if the dress contains a hammerspace.
Culture and society[]
The Sprixies tend to live within the Sprixie Kingdom, which is located on an unnamed planet that boasts similar conditions to Earth. It is connected to Mario's planet by a portal that is bisected by a clear pipe, presumably for safe travel.
Notable members[]
Sprixie Princesses[]
These seven are the most well-known members and the current leaders as far as we know. They have different colours of the rainbow (all the colours of paint plus cyan from light). These Sprixies have golden crowns on their heads to signal their status.
Lucky House Hosts[]
Six Sprixies host the Lucky House. They look the same.
Stamp Collector[]
This Sprixie can be visited if you can find her tent. Once she hands over the stamp that she holds (usually a Sprixie Princess that is experiencing a different emotion), she leaves for the next world. Once she gets caught in all the normal worlds (barring World 1) and Worlds 9 and 12, the Stamp Collector vanishes for the rest of the game. She looks like a generic Sprixie in the adult stage.
Mystery House Host[]
This Sprixie looks like any other female Sprixie adult. Her mini-game is the Mystery House Run. She can be found in all the even-numbered worlds.
Binocular Sprixie[]
This Sprixie can be found in certain worlds. Her appearance is no different from the rest of the adult females. She wields a pair of binoculars that can be used to locate the path to the goal.
The Binocular Sprixie seems to be quite the explorer, which may be why she can be found in multiple stages.
Appearances[]
- Super Mario 3D World (2013)
Notes[]
- A similar species exists in the Kirby series.
