The Springwing is a winged animal native to Darwin IV with an appearance reminiscent of the mythological hippogriff. It springs itself off cliffs, gliding with the alpine updrafts to reach its destination. Their relatives, the Cragspringers, are flightless and leap across ravines and chasms.
