Spirits are a extra-dimensional humanoid race with abilities that defy the fundamental laws of science.
Biology[]
Most members of this species resemble human female teenagers although their are males as well. They tend to live a lot longer than humans possibly immortal. These beings have two distinct forms which changes based on their emotional state. The weapons they carry act as an extension of their own bodies which helps boost their god-like power. The only male spirit who has the ability to seal this power is Shido Itsuka. There is some evidence that they were once humans, bonded by sentient mana crystals called Qlipha and Sephira Crystals.
Society[]
There is no society or culture of spirits to speak of. When spirits arrive on earth through what humans refer to as quakes they rarely remember anything from their previous visits. Most Humans fear them only through the Spatial quakes, large black hole like spatial distortion, though most don’t know what cause them.
