Spice Weasels are small non-sapient mammalianoids that emit a cloud of natural spice when squeezed. This probably evolved as a defense mechanism against predators, but has granted the Weasels popularity among chefs from all over the galaxy, which keep many of the little creatures around in their kitchens and use the spice to add some extra flavor to their dishes.

Like Earth's weasels, Spice Weasels have a furry, elongated body and four short legs. The tail of a Spice Weasel is prehensile, perhaps indicating an arboreal lifestyle.
