Space-Bats, a.k.a. Giant Space Bats, are large flying organisms that apparently live in space and are considered a threat to cosmonauts.
These creatures can live in a cold vacuum, likely indicating a body covered in a form of exoskeleton or full-body armor plating. They have green-hued skin, a pair of large eyes, moderately-sized ears, large wings, a snapping maw, a long tail spiny tail and clawed feet. Their large wings seem to be used to help them swoop in and grasp organisms up to at least the size and weight of a human youth and take off with them quickly.
- The Space-Bat originally appeared in the Brewster Rockit: Space Guy! newspaper comics by Tim Rickard on September 26th, 2004. The species would be featured again later on July 12th, 2009, where one swooped in and captured Winky on an unknown planet while Brewster Rockit taught him about constellations. In this second appearance, Brewster referred to it as a "Giant" Space Bat, despite it being no larger than the original one.
