The Snowy Blowhog is a recent species of terrestrial Blowhog first documented and discovered by the Rescue Corps expedition to PNF-404.
Biology[]
In similar manor to its more common cousins, the Snowy Blowhog's anatomy is supported by four small, singular-toed stubbed feet. Physically speaking, the creature's main difference from other land Blowhogs is its body being blue in coloration. It is hypothesized though that this blue coloration is more a result of its cryokinetic properties instead of its true pigmentation. Its eyes, curiously, also have their own unique coloration compared to most other species.
Also referred to as the "Ice Blowhog", a signature trait also is its ability to release a cryokinetic haze from its snout, the essence itself so cold that it is capable of freezing smaller creatures in a matter of seconds. The exact temperature of said haze has yet to be studied, mainly because of the hazardous nature of the haze in question. However, the latest studies compare the temperature of the haze to that of dry ice (over -100 degrees Fahrenheit). The only creature seemingly unaffected by the haze is itself and the Ice Pikmin, though studies are still underway on the effects on other creatures.
