Snakes are the most important beings in the Naruto universe. They have the ability to teach humans the Sennin Mode, which greatly increases the physical capabilities of users.

Biology[]

The biology of snakes is practically identical to those of real life, but with some different abilities. Because some are colossal in size, have a much greater strength than normal snakes, they can also dig holes with extreme ease, even using the Funeral of the Hidden Serpent in the Shadow, which consists of burying a part of their body in the soil and , then deliver a surprise attack or capture to the enemy, some also have the ability to levitate or eat chakra (energy), launch illusory techniques.. But there is an exception, the mutant snakes from Ichi that were shown in the movie "Naruto Shippūden 3: Heirs to the Will of Fire", blue two-headed snakes with what appeared to be bony structures on the head. These snakes have several abilities, including the Spinning Thorn of Snake, which after Ichi uses the Summoning: Two-Headed Snake and merges with them through the Chimera Technique, he can fire spinning projectiles from the snake's mouth that have explosive impact strength. They can also multiply generating new mutant snakes that emerge from their mouths, the more used the technique is, but the snakes will become small and weak.

Culture[]

Not much is known about snake cultures, what we do know is that they know the chakra as well as humans, and they also know Natural Energy even better than humans, since they were the ones who informed Orochimaru about it, and they who taught Kabuto Yakushi to control that energy.
