The small-statured aliens, also referred to as the little people and mistaken for leprechauns, are a species of diminutive humanoids hailing from a small planet in a distant galaxy. Their homeworld is pleasant, but very distinct from Earth.
Biology[]
The small-statured aliens have Human-like appearances, but stand at less than a meter tall. Their heights and limb proportions can vary, but they do not get taller than a meter.
Culture and society[]
The small-statured aliens utilize triangular gold coins as their currency, but only allow them to be given to those who are not deemed sinful. While on Earth, they displayed a willingness to deal with Humans in friendly manners, but only with select members who have found them. The small-statured aliens are also willing to allow members of other species to live on their homeworld with them, and bring local flora with them. Members of their spaceship crews wear green full body jumpsuits with grey boots.
Technology[]
The small-statured aliens have achieved intergalactic travel, as their homeworld is located in a galaxy far from the Milky Way. Their spaceships are shaped like flying saucers, with landing gear resembling a large cylinder that is deployed from the center of the saucer's underside, making the ship resemble a mushroom when grounded. Despite the highly advanced technology present in their spacecrafts, they are able to use late 20th century Earth electronic technology to make repairs. An unknown technology, presumably hidden within their coins, can convert their gold coins into lead, making them lose their value.
History[]
In the late 20th century, a group of small-statured aliens landed their damaged ship in Killany Woods, Ireland. A frantic tall tale-telling man named Liam O'Shaughnessy was wandering in the woods, coming across the aliens, apparently mistaking them for leprechauns. Later, after trying to tell men in the local pub about the encounter, O'Shaughnessy returns to the woods and manages to communicate with the small-statured aliens. They ask him to collect electronic hardware components for them, and provide him with triangular gold coins to do so. As O'Shaughnessy collects the components, he is stalked by another man named Mike Mulvaney, who suspects that O'Shaughnessy stole the gold, not knowing about the small-statured aliens. The aliens offer O'Shaughnessy the chance to come with them to their homeworld, and he accepts, gathering his belongings and paying off his landlady with some more gold. Mulvaney chases O'Shaughnessy into Killany Woods, forcing him to hand over a gold coin to pay off an old debt, but O'Shaughnessy hits him with his suitcase when he demands more gold, and outruns him to the aliens.
Mulvaney stops in awe of the sight of the aliens, who also turn to observe him. O'Shaughnessy laughs at Mulvaney, soon leaving with the aliens to their homeworld. As Mulvaney attempts to tell the men of the local pub about what he saw and buy drinks with the gold coin, the small-statured aliens turn the coin into worthless lead, deeming Mulvaney to be a greedy, sinful man. Sometime in the distant future, Humanity reached the homeworld of the small-statured aliens, finding an abundance of shamrocks amidst its otherwise alien environment. When questioned about it, the small-statured aliens told the Humans of O'Shaughnessy, who brought shamrocks with him to their planet.
