History[]
The Skriiti live alongside another race on their oceanic world, the Lanatosians, who hunted them. When Lanatos was about to be destroyed in the 24h century, the Lanatosians tried to hide Skriiti from the USS Enterprise-D to ensure that the Starfleet personnel would not be distracted from evacuating all their cultural monuments. However the Lantosians deceptions were revealed when Troi discovered that the Skriiti were sentient and telepathic.
