The Shelled Grollusc is a snail-like creature.

Anatomy[]
As the name implies, the Shelled Grollusc appears similar to mollusks found on Earth. They have large swirled shells similar to snails, which they can protect themselves from predation in and - in case of rocky environments - can also be used as a camouflage. They have stalked eyes protruding from the side of its head, with several tentacles along the bottom of its body as locomotion.
Unlike true mollusks, their shells are removable, and they are able to venture out of their shells in manors more akin to a Hermit Crab. Open shells without a grollusc in them harbour an Iridescent Pearl inside which can be broken for a grollusc sac, giving Trebhum who eat it the iridescent skin ability, making your trebhum shiny and sparkly as trebhum should be!
The shelled grollusc is also to emit short ranged 'rainbow-coloured' rays from its shell when predators are near it. These rays are able to strip mutations off Trebhum.
A related species of the Shelled Grollusc, the Naked Grollusc (Oikoscaphus gymnodermis) has sadly gone extinct, but they can be seen in the beta as a statue after you cross the maze section of the Omoa the Elder's temple.
Behavior[]
Shelled Grolluscs are solitary in nature. Despite their appearance, they are surprisingly aggressive and competitive over their main food sources, both to themselves and other animals that share the same resources. Some especially starving individuals even venture out of their shells to better compete for food, since they've been observed to move at a higher speed despite their vulnerability doing so.
