The Shansheeth are a sapient spacefaring species known throughout the universe as "intergalactic undertakers". They dedicate themselves to trawling interstellar battlefields, retrieving the bodies of heroes who died in space and taking them back to their homeworlds for proper funeral services.

The Shansheeth resemble human-sized vultures. They have humanoid hands with claws on their fingers, and can shoot destructive energy beams from their hands.
