Jal Sessan was a Kazon-Cardassian hybrid and First Maje of the Kazon-Nistrim sect. He is the son of Obidian Order member Seska and First Maje Jal Culluh, born in 2372, when USS Voyager was in the Delta Quadrant.

Early Life[]
Sessan was born during USS Voyager's conflict with the Kazon Sects. following their second encounter with Culluh and Seska, she revealed to Commander Chakotay that she used his DNA to impregnate herself with it. This however was not the case, as sometime after the Kazon took control of Voyager, leaving the crew stranded on Hanon IV, the EMH program aboard the ship revealed he was indeed Culluh's son. Following the crew retaking Voyager from the Kazon, Seska died as a result, leaving Culluh to take and raise his son among his comrades. Sessan suffered from an ailment, caused by mutated dark matter, but this was cured when an alternate version of the Ocampa, Kes healed him. As such, Culluh's love for his son outweighed his natural anger.
First Maje of the Nistrim[]
By 2410, Sessan became the First Maje of his father's sect. While attempting to gain allies to battle the Vaadwaur Supremacy, Sessan arrived to challenge Captain Harry Kim of the USS Rhode Island. When the Kazon who allied with the Federation proved too strong, Sessan retreated and joined with the Vaadwaur, alongside the Kazon-Relora.
Following the final battle with his enemies, Sessan fell victim to the allied Hirogen clan and likely died during the battle.
