The mysterious race known as the Servitors of the Outer Gods; a.k.a. "idiot flute-players"; spend their existence in servitude of the Outer Gods, such as Nyarlathotep and Azathoth, to whom they eternally play their flutes and drums while dancing for their masters.

The Servitors are strange tentacled creatures whose appearance combines aspects of squids and toads, but are also described as amorphous and constantly changing form.
