The Sentient Class-I Independent Operation Units were a race of giant biomechanical sentient machines.
Physiology
The Sentient Class-I Independent Operation Units were composed of two sexes, male and female. Males would merge with the female, sharing its essence with his partner. Young units were born within the female for a time, and spent a time under the crust of planets, and incubated, they are born upon emerging form the earth and separating from its mother.
History
The Sentient Class-I Independent Operation Units once roamed the universe in pods, however they many were killed during a random meteor storm, the survivors were conscripted into the Armor Hunters, when its leader, Control saved some. Greatful they later began serving as mobile bases for the Armor Hunter squads.
Under the Armor Hunters, the species wiped itself further into extinction, due to the fanatical Armor Hunters. Only one is known to have survived.
