Sea Fairies are a species of tiny humanoid creatures with butterfly wings, which fly above the Sea of Demons of planet Etheria and emit a luminous glow.
Biology[]
Not much is known about their biology. Though what is known is they are roughly three to four inches in length, have humanoid bodies, hair, butterfly wings and emit light. The only known specimen seemed to be female, but it's currently unclarified whether or not they are all female. They don't seem to have much in terms of physical strength, as the one that Princess Adora caught between her hands could barely put up a fight to break out and was only able to escape when she freed it. Of course, what else could one expect from such a puny and delicate creature? Their diet is also unclarified, though it is possible they are omnivorous.
History[]
One appears next to Sea Hawk when he relates his freedom to it, but then Adora clasps it to explain that he'll never truly be free as long as he serves the Horde, as they can easily take it away from him anytime, they want, just as she was able to do with the sea fairy.

- Their sapience is a bit unclear. The one that was sighted seemed to be wearing a dress and shoes, suggesting they're at least smart enough to make their own clothing. However, these could've just been parts of its body. The one next to Sea Hawk's head also briefly looked at him when he spoke, though it's unclarified if it understood him, as it didn't respond. They also don't appear to speak either, so it's unknown if they have any languages. Unless they are a nonverbal species.
- Being fairies, they presumably have magic powers, like being water-based. Though they are never seen doing this.
- When She-Ra clasps the one sea fairy that flew over Sea Hawk's shoulder, it can be seen visibly struggling in her hands before she lets it go.
